Access & Inclusion

Home James is committed to making Orange's wine country accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our commitment

We believe that a great day out in Orange should be available to as many people as possible. Whether you have a mobility consideration, a sensory need, a dietary requirement or simply prefer a quieter, more considered pace — we want to know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our vehicle

Home James operates a premium Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+. The vehicle is a full-size SUV with comfortable, elevated seating and generous door openings. While it is not a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, it is well suited to guests who find low-slung cars difficult to enter and exit. If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact James before booking so we can discuss whether the vehicle suits your needs or explore alternatives.

Venue accessibility

The cellar doors and venues we visit on our tours vary in their physical accessibility. Some are set on hillside properties with uneven terrain, gravel paths or steps. We do our best to select venues with good access and will always advise you in advance if a particular stop has limitations.

If you have a mobility consideration, please let us know when enquiring and we will tailor the day's itinerary to venues that best suit your needs.

Dietary requirements

We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and common allergens. Please advise us of any requirements at the time of booking so we can liaise with our venue and hospitality partners in advance.

Sensory and other needs

If you or a member of your group has a sensory sensitivity, anxiety around crowds or noise, or any other need that would help us make the day more comfortable — please tell us. Our tours are small, private and hosted, which means we have the flexibility to adapt the pace, the environment and the experience to suit you.

Get in touch before you book

We would rather have a conversation before you book than have you arrive on the day with unmet needs. James is happy to discuss any access or inclusion requirements directly — no question is too small.

Ongoing commitment

We are a small, owner-operated business and we take access and inclusion seriously. We are always looking to improve. If you experience something on one of our tours that could be done better, or if you have a suggestion that would help us serve more people well, we welcome your feedback.
